Dear Wanderers,
Ahead of the Version 2.3 update, we adjusted the in-game time display and offset system to improve the experience for players across different regions. However, a code merge conflict caused the time offset system to fail across the Yunya region (Europe and Middle East servers), Yougu region (US East and South America servers), and Linhe region (US West servers). This caused Guild War to open ahead of schedule in these regions. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and frustration this issue has caused.
The issue first occurred on October 18 at 03:30 (UTC+8) during the day's first Guild War match, and a technical fix was completed on October 18 at 21:00 (UTC+8). Since matches were still underway in the Canglang region at that time, deployment was postponed until after those matches concluded to avoid disrupting ongoing games. The deployment was finalized on October 18 at 23:55 (UTC+8), after which Guild War resumed its normal schedule.
Because this anomaly prevented certain guilds from participating normally, we have rolled back all Guild War scores accumulated during the abnormal opening period to ensure competitive fairness. Compensation has also been sent to affected Wanderers.
Moving forward, we will refine our internal workflows and reinforce verification during code merging and release phases to prevent similar issues from happening again.
Additionally, with certain regions transitioning from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time starting October 25, we have received inquiries from Wanderers regarding Guild War start times.
Since the European and American regions cover multiple countries with varying daylight saving practices and schedules, Guild War start times will not adjust with regional daylight saving transitions. This ensures consistent and stable event timing across each region, and matches will continue to open according to current set server times.
As a result, the local start time for Guild War in certain regions may shift by one hour once local clocks transition to Standard Time. Please check the in-game event interface to confirm your local schedule and plan your participation accordingly.
Thank you for your understanding and support!
The optimizations and bug fixes for the October 29 update are as follows:
1. The end time for Battle Pass [Scarlet Whispers] has been adjusted from November 14 at 04:59:59 to November 13 at 17:59:59 (UTC+8).
Starting October 29, the reset time for the weekly Battle Pass EXP cap has been adjusted to every Monday at 05:00:00 (UTC+8).
We will be retroactively granting Battle Pass EXP to all Wanderers on all servers. Thank you for your understanding and support.
2. Added support for the [Qingzhou] region. Wanderers can now purchase the required items at [Zhao Laoliu’s General Store].
3. Fixed an issue where certain mail rewards could not be re-claimed, causing the mails to be unable to be deleted.
4. Fixed an issue where certain Qinghe Homestead quests could not be completed.
5. Fixed an issue where the titles [Blooming Rebuttal], [Unrivaled Cardmaster], and [Cast the Cosmos] could not be activated or used after being acquired.
