3. How can I link my Discord account, and what features are available on each platform?
- PC, mobile, and Xbox players can link their accounts either in-game or via this page.
*Note: Steam and Epic Games Store versions do not currently support Discord account linking or reward claiming due to a technical issue. These features are currently available only through the official Where Winds Meet Launcher. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to bring support to Steam and Epic as soon as possible.
- PlayStation players must link their accounts via this page. Once linked, you'll unlock the following features:
- Chat with your Discord friends in-game. - Access an integrated Discord friends list.
- View Discord friends' online status directly in-game.
- Send Discord invites via the in-game friends list to team up instantly. -
4. Can I unlink my Discord account after linking?
Yes, you can unlink your Discord account at any time.
In-Game:
Launch Where Winds Meet, open the Menu, navigate to the Discord tab, and click Unlink.
Discord:
In Discord, go to settings - connected apps - authorized apps - find where winds meet and click deauthorize to unlink accounts. -
5. What information does WWM access from my Discord account?
When you link your Discord account, WWM accesses basic information needed for the connection, including: - Discord ID (for account linking)
- Friends list (to display in-game)
- Online status (to sync across platforms)
This info is used for features like game invites and accessing exclusive Discord channels. -
